Some people say about my services

"David taught my son who has ADHD & Dyspraxia for 2 years and successfully helped him achieve success at both As and A level. David balances the challenge of being both strict about his expectations and fun at the same time. He is able to ensure input & output and my son had huge respect and friendship with him. My son past the Spanish grade needed to get him into his chosen university"

Parent of AS and A Level student in London

David is a dedicated and professional teacher. He assessed my son’s abilities quickly and is working with him to narrow gaps and advance his knowledge. He recommended a grammar book to help. He has been working with my son for a term and we already see results. Highly recommended.

Parent of a IB Ab Initio student

"David is a very enthusiastic and engaging tutor. His lessons are always well prepared, interesting and focussed. My daughter lacked confidence and was struggling with Spanish in Year 10 but with David's help she obtained an excellent understanding of spanish grammar and tenses and became much more confident particularly with the speaking and listening sections of the exam. She achieved a Grade 9 in her GCSE and wants to continue with Spanish at A level. I would highly recommend David as a spanish tutor"

Parent of a GCSE student

Our oldest daughter was halfway through year 10 and struggling with Spanish, her average school marks were C’s and D’s so we wanted to give her a boost. We approached David to help as he was able to provide online lessons which was very convenient for us. David raised her standard with just one hourly session per week and she passed her GCSE with a grade A.

Our youngest daughter Tiana started lessons earlier with David in Year 9. Now in year 10 she is one of the best in her class and set to do well in her exams.

David has always been professional yet friendly with both my daughters and I feel very comfortable with his teaching ability. He allows them to be confident and inquiring in the lessons but keeps them on track. Both my daughters only needed a booster to their normal classroom curriculum which is why I believe one hour a week was sufficient for their needs.

Now my youngest is 15 I happily allow her and David to arrange their weekly lessons without my intervention, he is flexible in his time keeping considerate of their other commitments and I would gladly recommend him.

Richard G.

Parent of GCSE student in London (Key Stage 3-4)

“David is an excellent teacher and very patient with my daughter too! I am very pleased to have found him.”

Stella L.

Parent of Key Stage 4 GCSE student (London)

"David has been my Spanish teacher for the last 2 1/4 years. I started (as an adult) with no more than a few tourist words of Spanish. David is a patient, enthusiastic and engaging teacher and I enjoy my lessons, even when the subject matter is hard or I am making mistakes!
David uses a wide range of interchangeable learning techniques (videos, news articles, grammar challenges, exercises books etc) which keeps lessons interesting and challenging.
As a parent I also appreciate the value of focussed home tutoring for school age children, either to make sure they are keeping up, or to add to add a * to an A Grade. I would have every confidence in David as an excellent tutor for my children."
Outcome: "I have been able to make rapid progress on the basis of a 1 1/2 hr lesson per week and have developed a genuine enjoyment and interest in the language and culture."
